Project Manager

NucoreVision, Incorporated is currently looking for experienced Project Managers to work on several federal government initiatives. The Project Manager is responsible for the performance of small to mid-sized projects or a definable portion of a larger program in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. This candidate will also develop project requirements, acceptance criteria, and objectives of proposed Client solution, determine and manage project costing, schedules, and staffing levels, define and manage project scope, and assigns and maintains resources. On certain projects the Project Manager will make a technical contribution as needed.

NucoreVision, Incorporated is CMMI Level 2 Company, therefore the Project Manager will be responsible for developing and following CMMI Level 2 processes to ensure excellent project performance and continued profitability.

The candidate will complete the following: identify project risks and develop contingency plans and status reports, track issues and execute problem resolution; create and execute internal team and external client communications models; ensure all deliverables are met in a timely fashion; facilitate the coordination of all project related activities; and manage and mentor project staff. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall total project quality.

Qualifications:

• BA or BS Degree with 7-10 years of work experience
• At least 3-5 years of prior project management experience
• PMP certification is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks and demands
• Exhibit outstanding customer service skills
• Interact effectively with all levels of organization personnel, clients, and vendors
• Proficient in using MS office products (i.e., MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) and project planning tools, such as, MS Project
• Produce quality results in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
• Apply team and interpersonal skills to changing work circumstances
• Ability to listen and contribute effectively to the group
• Prior experience with CMMI or ISO Process Management Methodology is a plus
