Instructional Designer/Curriculum Developer

NucoreVision, Incorporated is currently looking for experienced Instructional Designer/Curriculum Developer professionals to support several federal government initiatives. Under the general direction of a manager, this individual will be responsible for developing and delivering standardized training and materials suitable for supporting classroom instruction, individualized web-based training, practical application and examination in appropriate media formats capable of supporting training for personnel. The individual will also research and gather appropriate information to be used to develop course material, determine training objectives and write training programs, including the course outline, lecture material, handouts, and exams, and gather and compile data at the conclusion of the training to measure the overall effectiveness of the course material. The individual shall be dedicated to maintaining, revising and developing courses of instruction in support of the course development and delivery initiatives using a blend of web-based, instructor led, on-the-job training and/or practical application and distant learning training initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Education or a related field; or 5 years of experience working in a training/adult education environment.
• Master’s Degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or Curriculum Development is a plus.
• Knowledge of Adult Learning Techniques and Methodologies (i.e. ADDIE model)
• Knowledge of e-learning and web-based training skill sets
• Experience with designing Section 508 compliant e-learning
• Experience with Authorware designing instructional materials
• Proficient in using and troubleshooting MS office products (i.e., MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to listen and contribute effectively to the group
• Ability to obtain a DoD government clearance is preferred but not required
