Information Assurance Engineer

NucoreVision, Incorporated is currently looking for an experienced Information Assurance Engineer to support C&A efforts on several federal government information security initiatives. This candidate will be responsible for working with the security team to identify and develop security requirements and documentation. Create or assist with the development and testing of contingency and disaster recovery plans. The candidate will develop advanced policies, procedures, and strategies to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility as well as defense against unauthorized system access. The candidate will provide technical advisement to Client on information security related concerns.

Qualifications:

• BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant subject area; professional experience can be supplemented for education.
• 5+ years of professional experience with Information Assurance
• Extensive experience with documenting security plans, procedures, policies, and standards required.
• Prior federal government experience preferred.
• Extensive experience with NIST, DITSCAP, DIACAP, FISMA, and other DoD Information Assurance requirements
• Strong writing, editing, and communications skills required
• Currently possess or have the ability to obtain a DoD government clearance required
• CISSP certification is a plus.
